Ready or Not: The Most Realistic Shooter Ever Made

Описание: Ready or Not as a game is often stupidly realistic, featuring essentially photorealistic graphics and other gameplay mechanics that honestly, are borderline real. But you may ask, is this level of realism necessary? Especially with Ready or Not attempting to handle extremely sensitive topics – is the pursuit of realism in games necessary to games LIKE Ready or Not. In this video, I seek to come to an understanding on why Ready or Not is so realistic, look at some of the controversies that the game has been a part of due to this commitment to expressing taboo content and finally conclude on how this affects the game. During the video, I shall look at the missions Elephant, Neon Tomb and The Spider, and how they depict the crimes and terrible acts of depravity within them.
