Welcome to Day 4 of the Everyday Athlete Program! 🚀
Today, Steve Cook and Jake Hutton from Fitness Culture are bringing you a dynamic mix of change-of-direction training, explosive power, and metabolic conditioning. This program was designed to help you stay ready for anything—whether it’s a full sprint, a dynamic golf swing, or just crushing life at 40. 💪
Here’s the workout:
👉 Change of Direction Training – Lateral plyometrics, shuffle drills, and side runs to improve balance, stability, and athleticism.
👉 Core Strength – Focus on proprioception and stabilization with farmer carries, suitcase carries, and Turkish get-ups.
👉 Metabolic Conditioning – Interval Weight Training with kettlebell swings, rowing, goblet squats, and runs to push your endurance.
👉 Bodyweight Finisher – 3 rounds for time to build muscular endurance while wrapping up the session strong.
