In this second phase of the project, the focus is on engaging young women and men as Teaching Assistants to guide them toward careers in education. The aim is to instil the necessary skills, values, and attitudes in a new generation of teachers and leaders, ultimately enhancing the quality of teaching and learning in Rwanda.
From 10th to 24th November 2024, the Teaching Assistantships Project by Inspire, Educate and Empower Rwanda, in partnership with Mastercard Foundation, inducted 820 Teaching Assistants into its phase 2 to nurture future educators and leaders.
These Teaching Assistants are currently playing a vital role by collaborating closely with teachers in their respective schools. Their contributions support quality teaching and learning, as well as social and economic transformation in Rwanda.
