👥 Abhijit V. Banerjee and Esther Duflo are internationally renowned professor of economics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). They are also co-founders and co-directors of the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL). They received in 2019 the Bank of Sweden Prize in Economic Sciences.
