Did some experimenting with silicone molds and ultimately realized I'm going to need a vacuum chamber to degas the silicone. And this will likely come in handy if I decide to do some stabilized wood in the future. Using an old pressure cooker, some random air-tool parts I had laying around, and a Harbor Freight brand automotive vacuum pump we put together a serviceable vacuum chamber.
