Say hello to Brenda Ortiz, Class of '25, a SAGE Scholar and double-major in Education Sciences and Sociology! 📚 From involvement in the community with student programs to working closely with high school youth programs, Brenda is defining excellence and professionalism.

🗓️ Graduating UCI with the Class of 2025, Brenda continues her journey in the fall, accepted into the Master of Science in Counseling program at CSU San Bernardino. At UC Irvine she completed fieldwork supporting high school students with UCI’s Early Academic Outreach Program (EAOP) and fellow undergrads at the Student Outreach and Retention (SOAR) and COACH programs.

🎙️ A shoutout to the SAGE Scholar and Brenda’s mentors: “Joining the SAGE Scholars program and being mentored by Neda and Cecy is one of the best decisions I made during my time at UCI. These incredible women pushed me to dream bigger and strive for opportunities out of my comfort zone. Because of their support, I had the courage to get so involved on campus and apply to graduate programs.”
