Homemade Dusting Spray:


Benefits:

• Prevents dust from flying
• Cuts through the grease
• Evaporates quickly
• Does not leave behind residues
• Provides shine & polish



Dusting spray using white vinegar & olive oil:

White vinegar is the secret ingredient of this spray as it scrapes out the grease & gives a good shine to the object

1. Add a cup of water in a bowl
2. Add 1/4th cup of white vinegar
3. Add 2 tsp olive oil
4. Add 8-10 drops of lavender essential oil
5. Mix well the ingredients
6. Then transfer it to a spray bottle for use

Your dusting spray is ready. Spray this solution on any dusty surface and simply wipe it off using a cotton cloth



Dusting spray using lemon peel & thyme:

Lemon peels have powerful grease fighting properties & thyme is a good anti-bacterial herb, which makes the spray a good disinfectant

1. Add ½ cup of olive oil in a bowl
2. Peel two lemons
3. Add the peels to the olive oil
4. Add 1 tsp dried thyme
5. Transfer it to a container with a lid
6. Keep it in a cool, dark place for two weeks
7. Let the mixture infuse in the two weeks
8. After two weeks, strain the mixture in a spray bottle
9. Finally add 8-10 drops of lemon essential oil

You can now spray it on a surface & wipe it with a soft cloth



Tips:

• Always make sure to shake the spray bottle well before use
• Use a cotton piece of cloth o for dusting as dust gets easily
absorbed in the cotton
• Make it a point to dust your furniture daily as the air borne
deposits can easily form a layer on the surface of the furniture
