I thought I was holding on tight to my younger brother and sister, but I seemed to have got out of the train by myself and my brother and sister were carried out by an adult."

"I saw adult and children alike running from the centre of the city, waving their arms like a bird. Shouting, ""Help me, It's hot"". They were wearing summer thin clothes but I can see that clothes was burnt into their skin. The skin had melted and was hanging down from their arms like a sleeve of Kimono. LEAD IN:
Japan's Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said on Monday that Japan is committed to its non-nuclear policy and will work towards the abolition of nuclear weapons, as Hiroshima marked the 62nd anniversary of the world's first atomic bomb attack.
About 40-thousand survivors, residents and visitors from around the world observed a minute of silence at 8:15 a.m. on Monday, (2315 GMT on Sunday), the moment the American B-29 bomber Enola Gay dropped its deadly payload on Hiroshima on 6 August 1945.
An estimated 140-thousand people were killed instantly or died within a few months after the bombing.
Three days later, another US airplane dropped a plutonium bomb on the city of Nagasaki, killing about 80-thousand people.
As the world remembers the victims of the bombings in Hiroshima and Nagasaki a victim shares her experiences of that fateful day.
STORYLINE:
Park Nam-Ju, a second generation Korean resident in Hiroshima is one such person.
In the morning of August 6th 1945, aged 13, Park too her little brother and sister on a train ride into the city, where her father and uncle had worked.
There was an air raid warning earlier that morning but it went passed without an incident.
She was enjoying her train ride with her brother and sister, when a man looked out of the window of the train and said "I see a B-29 flying over".
Park describes what happened next.
