Flipper 60 (FL60) was developed with simplicity in mind. By optimizing an airfoil family suitable for slope soaring, we have produced a low-drag, high-performance glider with excellent energy retention. Using off-the-shelf components and a 3D-printed bellcrank, we created a simple DIY wing pivot mechanism for the pitcheron configuration.

Design & Construction
Wing & Airfoil: Low-drag airfoils with aerodynamic washout
Structure: Two-piece plug-in wing and V-tail
Material: Fully 3D printed with PLA or TPU
Customization: Modifiers allow user customization for various flight conditions
Control: Bellcrank-style wing pivot mechanism
Assembly: Plug-and-play magnetic wing retention
Landing Mode: “Waggle Air Brake” (OpenTX option)
