Ultimately, the judge granted deferred adjudication probation for 10 years, with a $1,000 fine and strict conditions. Wade is prohibited from contacting the individuals who were in the vehicle at the time of the murder.

The judge emphasized this was Wade’s one chance — any violation could result in conviction and up to 10 years in prison. If she completes probation successfully, the case will be dismissed, leaving her without a felony conviction.
