Will Social Security Send a Private Investigator to Challenge your Disability Claim?

There are certainly some members of Congress who believe that SSDI and SSI are rife with fraud and they would investigate every claim if they could.

As I discuss in this video, however, at this point, Social Security barely has enough money to staff local hearing offices and their “800 number” phone answering centers. There is no evidence currently that SSA routinely sends out investigators to monitor the activity of claim applicants or approved claim beneficiaries.
