1980s Boombox - UPGRADED!

Описание: In this video I show you how I modified a Hitachi TRK-3D80E stereo radio cassette. Modifications include fitting a rechargeable Li-ion battery pack, class D amplifier, better speakers. along with a few other bits. This is already a good boombox and was one of the louder ones of the time. However I wanted to see what is possible with todays parts (purists please look away!). I was trying to do this at a low cost to start with but it did end up costing more than I was expecting, but it was fun to do and I am pleased with the results.

I don't think I'll be carrying it down to the park on my shoulder anytime soon, the upgrades have added an extra 2.6Kg to the weight.
Original weight (with batteries) = 6600g
New upgraded weight = 9217g
