And finally, another super-duper plan went out to be a great success of taking the 16216 Salem Jn - Yesvantpur Jn (Unreserved) Express train much awaited end to end ride behind a single headed SWR based ALCo in LHF Mode, KJM WDM 3A #14028R 😍 And indeed, a memorable trip to south i.e., Salem (Tamil Nadu State - SR Salem Division).

PART-1: Enjoy the video clip of the mighty single headed ALCo's furious acceleration from the main line in almost every halt stations in between, smoking and chugging, dynamic braking, air pressure build-up and twin toned honking sounds.

Stations Covered: Magnesite Junction, Omalur Junction, Semmandapatti, Karuvalli, Toppur, Muttampatti, Sivadi and Dharmapuri (PART 4a). This will continue till Yesvantpur in the remaining parts.

Big thanks railfans for the timely update regarding the loco link and I purposely wanted to board from Salem Jn itself to take a look at Dharmapuri - Omalur Jn hills section in between and sorry for the wind noise in between, which is unavoidable :)
