A 19-year-old man is facing charges of bestiality and other animal cruelty-related charges, after police allege he committed sex acts on his cats.
According to a Winnipeg Police Service news release, police were informed in June by the Winnipeg Humane Society's animal protection services that a man had been taken to hospital with injuries caused by an animal he owned.
Police say the humane society learned through its investigation that the man had allegedly committed sexual acts on animals in his home, one of which resulted in his injuries.
