After applying for a job, completing an interview, sending a thank-you note, and following up with voicemails, emails, and DMs, the big question arises—how long should you wait to hear back? You applied? Great. Keep moving forward. Instead of obsessing over one opportunity, shift your focus to finding more. Search for additional job postings, reach out to more companies, and pursue new leads. Stay proactive. What you shouldn’t do is waste time and energy constantly checking in. Calling every half-hour, sending multiple follow-ups, and tracking down recruiters may seem like persistence, but it’s counterproductive. Not only does it stall your job search, but it also takes a toll on your mental health. When we don’t receive timely updates on something important, we naturally start filling in the blanks with worst-case scenarios. We assume rejection, question our worth, and let self-doubt creep in. This psychological spiral isn’t just damaging—it’s unnecessary. Businesses operate on their own timelines, and often, silence isn’t personal. It’s just the way things work. Rather than fixating on the unknown, redirect that energy into action. Every new application, every fresh lead, brings hope and momentum. It increases your chances of landing the right role while keeping your outlook positive. The goal is to find a company that values you—where the hiring process feels effortless, and the offer comes without hesitation. At the end of the day, you may never get answers from a company that ghosts you, and that’s okay. Don’t take it as a reflection of your worth. Instead, remind yourself: Who cares? The right employer is out there. Keep searching, keep applying, and move forward.

There is a big difference between what you learn in business school, and what you need to know in the real world – just ask any startup founder or business owner! My goal is to focus on the real-world aspects of business, giving practical tips and tricks that are not usually covered in school.

The world can certainly use more inspiring leaders, more successful entrepreneurs, more employed job seekers, and more capable managers - that is what I would like to help bring about.

Who Am I?
I am a practicing management consultant, former CEO, and entrepreneur. I have led many businesses to success, as well as several startups. Among other things, I have an engineering degree, and a master's degree in finance.

I have worked across five industries, and have worked in both large enterprise and small businesses. I have also mentored startup founders and teach business and HR at a post-graduate level.

Why I Want To Involve My Community:
