Pallipuram Gramam, a beauiful small brahmin settlement is located in the heart of palakkad city. It is one amongst the 18 Agraharams in palakkad Town. The Lakshmi Narayana Swamy Temple in the village is one, believed to be constructed by the immigrants who came here presumably 700years ago. The people of pallipuram are Vaishnavites and are followers of Sri Ahobila Mutt.

There are three temples in this Agraharam.
Lakshminarayana Swamy Temple
Balavinayagar Temple
Siva temple
These Grama devatas are the guardian deities of this Agraharam. It is the belief of the people here that the deities in these temples give material wealth, promotion in service, all around prosperity, peace and consolation.
