In this video: Advanced moves for Lindy Hoppers at JazzMAD's weekly Monday night class, "Killer Moves", with Sharon Davis & Tony Jackson. Filmed on Monday 5th September 2016. This class started in side-by-side Lindy Charleston, and used a classic Johnny's Drop as a base move, to explore movements danced in Mambo and Balboa, including cross steps, swivels and fast turns in both directions. Though we usually try to keep Killer Moves heavy on material and lighter on theory, in this class we did get into the nitty gritty of hip leading, disassociated movement, pattern breaking and dynamic connection points... go team!
