इलाके की ईरान ने पूरी
तरह से नाकेबंदी कर दी है...हजारों ईरानी सैनिक इस इलाके में तैनात हैं...तैनाती ऐसी है कि परिंदा
भी पर नहीं मार सकता...

ईरान ने इस इलाके को कंट्रोल करके या नाकेबंदी करके दुनिया को भारी
आर्थिक संकट में ला दिया है...इसके महत्व का अंदाज़ा इस बात से लगाया जा सकता है कि
दुनिया की कुल तेल आपूर्ति का लगभग पाँचवाँ हिस्सा इसी रास्ते से होकर गुज़रता है.

ईरान के पाबंदी लगाने के बाद जहाज़ ट्रैकिंग Platform Clipper के अनुसार, hormuz strait के पार खुली
खाड़ी के पानी में कम से कम 150 टैंकरों ने लंगर डाल दिया है..यानी ट्रैफिक बिल्कुल बंद है...

सऊदी अरब, संयुक्त अरब अमीरात, कुवैत और ईरान जैसे देशों से निर्यात होने वाला कच्चा तेल इसी Strait से होकर अन्य देशों तक पहुँचता है.

इसके अलावा, दुनिया में सबसे अधिक liquefied natural gas निर्यात करने वाला देश क़तर भी अपने निर्यात के लिए इसी रास्ते पर निर्भर है.

अब सवाल उठता है कि starit of hormuz की नाकेबंदी करने में ईरान कामयाब कैसे रहा..कैसे ये इलाका ईरान के कंट्रोल में आया...

दरअसल strait  of hormuz बेहद अहम और सामरिक रूक से संवेदनशील क्षेत्र है
ओमान और ईरान के बीच मौजूद एक संकरा रास्ता है जो कि Gulf of Oman  और Persian Gulf के बीच
स्थित है और उसके आगे अरब सागर से जुड़ता है।

ये अपने सबसे पतले पॉइंट पर 21 मील यानी (33 km) चौड़ा है, और shipping lanes दोनों दिशाओं में सिर्फ 2 मील
यानी (3 km) चौड़ी है...

बताया जा रहा है कि ईरान ने इसपर संपूर्ण नाकेबंदी कर दी है...ईरान के छोटे Speed ​​Boat जिसपर घातक मिसाइलें लगी है...
सैकड़ों की संख्या में तैनात है...इसके अलावा जमीन पर लंबी दूरी तक मार करने वाले तोप लगाए गए हैं...इसके साथ मिसाइलों
को भी तट के पास तैनात किया गया है...इतना ही नहीं...ईरान पनडुब्बी भी इस क्षेत्र में गश्त कर रही है...यानी इस इलाके में
अगर कोई भी जहाज फटका तो सीधे डूबो दिया जाएगा...
