Steve Hogarth, nickname “h”, the unmistakeable voice and frontman of prog icon
Marillion, who joned the band in 1989, right after Fish and the rest of the band
decided to split up. He is one of the driving forces for the band´s ongoing success
and their unconventional musicstyle making them the indisputable kings of the prog
music scene.

Steve Hogarth is not just the singer, he is one of the most outstanding frontmen in
rock music. His excessive and emotional live shows are legendary.
Marillion released 20 studio albums, but in every decade you can name an
outstanding iconic one. „Misplaced Childhood“ in the 80s, followed by „Brave“ in
1994, „Marbles“ 2004, „F.E.A.R.“ in 2016 and their latest one “An Hour Before It´s
Dark”, released in 2022.

Despite unpopularity in the mainstream media and a consistently unfashionable
status within the British music industry, Marillion have maintained a very loyal
international fanbase, becoming widely acknowledged as playing a pioneering role in
the development of crowdfunding and fan-funded music. They have sold over 15
million albums worldwide.

Although the band has featured two very distinct and different vocalists, the core
instrumental line-up of Steve Rothery (lead guitar), Pete Trewavas (bass), Mark
Kelly (keyboards) and Ian Mosley (drums) has been unchanged.
