Bosveld Trip 6 - 9 Aug 2021

Описание: Land Rover enthusiasts meeting up for another epic trip, this time in the Bosveld in North West and surroundings. Base camp was at Moegatle. Moegatle is set on a game farm that is located 30 km outside the town of Brits. Moegatle is located in a rustic bushveld setting and offers a trail known in the 4x4 community as one of the three "Terror Trails". Boasting a host of driving situations to tackle including the unusual combination for water, mud, sand, loose and solid rock. There are various escape routes at the difficult sections - not that we needed the chicken runs!

Breedtsnek pass was next on the list. Breedtsnek is located in Bojanala Platinum District Municipality, North-West, South Africa. The estimate terrain elevation above seal level is 1692 metres. We also visited the Owl Sanctuary where we got to see the beautiful birds and also make a contribution to their cause.

In celebration of the wonderful women of South Africa, we hosted a fun ladies event on Women’s Day.
