Описание: Ace Of Wands was a very good fantasy based British TV series, with a memorable theme tune and opening graphics, which ran from 1970-72. It showed the adventures of Tarot (Michael MacKenzie) a young stage conjuror and escapologist. He was billed as a “20th Century Robin Hood with a pinch of Merlin and a dash of Houdini” who, with friends Chaz and Mikki along with Ozymandias the owl, found himself in mysterious adventures against strange and powerful adversaries. The show constantly pushed back the boundary of acceptable tea-time viewing which made it such compelling viewing at the time and is why it is still so enjoyable today.

Unfortunately the broadcast tapes for the first two seasons were wiped and they, sadly, no longer exist. The good news is that the 20 episodes, and 6 stories, for season 3 do exist and they enable those of us who saw it to relive memories of the show. More importantly, it enables a new generation of viewers to discover how good it was and why it is so fondly remembered.

'The Meddlers': Tarot meets Chas (Roy Holder) and Mikki (Petra Markham), a brother and sister who live in a studio above an old London street market which is under a curse. Can Tarot help them against the mysterious Mr. Dove and the Mockers and stop the strange happenings from the curse?
