Описание: Kerala’s Raj Bhavan has officially been renamed Lok Bhavan, following a nationwide directive from the Union Home Ministry to rename Raj Bhavans and Raj Niwas residences as Lok Bhavan and Lok Niwas. Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar said the change marks a shift from a “colonial mindset” to a more democratic identity. He first proposed the renaming idea at the 2022 All India Governor’s Conference when he served as Bihar Governor.
