What does living the dream mean for a professional slackliner + extreme sports athlete? Always living to the fullest of your ability.

When asked where slacklining originated + reflecting on how he got into the sport, ‪@SketchyAndyLewis‬ states, "Funambalism goes way back in Korea 2,000 years years ago," + calls Dean Potter his original hero. Five years after Potter's passing in 2015, Andy worked with a team to recreate a shot that had inspired him greatly, the solar eclipse shot. Now, he lives his life in the deserts of Moab, Utah, home to some of the most unique climbing, highlining, + advanced BASE jumping exits in the world.

As a judge at the 2024 GoPro Mountain Games slacklining event, Andy got to put his experience to use, observing the next generation as they put their skills to the test.

Having lost over 50 friends to BASE jumping, Andy doesn't take anything for granted. He knows the "danger + the courage that is involved in the uncharted territory". Before he jumps, he takes a second to breathe + to put intentional gratitude + appreciation into his life.
