On 17th September 2025, the Indian government is launching “Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan” alongside the 8th Poshan Maah to improve health and nutrition for women, adolescent girls, mothers, and children. Over 1 lakh health camps will be organized nationwide, offering screening, treatment, awareness, and nutrition education. The campaign integrates multiple ministries—Health, WCD, and Ayush—and frontline workers to address diseases, maternal and child health, mental well-being, and lifestyle issues. Poshan Maah focuses on malnutrition, anemia, obesity, balanced diets, and nutrition counseling, forming part of the National Nutrition Mission, aiming for a healthier and empowered India.
