In this video we look at the LK Chen Yázì Tiger Cutting Jian based on an existing antique sword from the Qing dynasty. What makes this jian from LK Chen so special is that it is a design that most martial arts practitioners are familiar with in length, weight, and guard design, but forged and constructed realistically fro practical application and not just forms demonstrations. Not only that but it has the signature fittings of Long Quan and the unique Raging Tiger pommel. When it comes to the Yázì guard, we will look at the origin and usage on not just swords, but various types of Chinese weaponry.
