BJP government formed by people's mandate, opposition should go to public

Описание: ​Senior BJP leader Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh addressed the media, asserting that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and the Bharatiya Janata Party-led government have been formed by a definitive and sacred mandate of the people.

​Addressing the opposition, he remarked that if they genuinely believe they have substantive issues, they should take their case directly to the public well before the 2029 general elections, or seek legal recourse through the Supreme Court if they wish to pursue a judicial path.

However, he added with concern, "I seriously doubt whether Rahul Gandhi and the opposition truly have faith in or respect for the Supreme Court."

​Recalling his long public journey, Mr. Singh shared: "I am now 70 years old, and I began understanding the nuances of politics around 1970. In all these decades, this is the very first time in my life I have witnessed a group marching toward the Supreme Court with such intent.

In fact, I would go as far as to say that Rahul Gandhi was prepared to stage a spectacle right outside the Supreme Court and attempt to shake its very gates.

It was only timely intervention and advice from his legal consultants that held him back; otherwise, their clear intention was to create chaos and disruption within the premises of the apex court."
