Lightning struck twice for two-time graduate Alberto Padron. This proud Panther took the stage at FIU's inaugural TEDx event last October as emcee, taking this FIU MBA beyond a world he knew.

That evening was a catalyst to a series of many fortuitous events that have transpired since that inspiring night nearly a year ago.

Padron re-imagined his career aspirations and launched Stinghouse, a full-service ad agency in Miami's Wynwood Arts District, spoke at the 10th Annual FIU Student Leadership Summit, led a lecture on diversity marketing hosted by the national Association of Strategic Marketing, and was the keynote speaker at the National Society of Hispanic MBA (NSHMBA) Future Trends Conference at the Simon Graduate School of Business at the University of Rochester. He followed that keynote speech with another one, this time at the NSHMBA Diversity Pre-Conference Workshop at the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University. Now he returns to TEDxFIU as Master of Ceremonies.

In addition to advertising and public speaking, Padron can be found chairing the Strategic Planning Committee as a volunteer officer on the FIU Alumni Association Board of Directors, blogging about culture and society, spending time with his family or attending an FIU community event.
