The Scriptwriters & Co International Festival 2024 was held on 12th May, at the Rondo Theatre in Bath.
Our guest speaker was the wonderful Stephen Volk, interviewed by Zanna Cardash, S&CO's Artistic Director. His is the ‘evil’ mind behind the BBC’s notorious “Halloween Hoax” GHOSTWATCH, and he also created and was lead writer of the ITV paranormal drama series AFTERLIFE, starring Lesley Sharp and Andrew Lincoln. Other screenplays by Stephen include THE AWAKENING, William Friedkin's THE GUARDIAN; and Ken Russell's GOTHIC. He adapted Phil Rickman's MIDWINTER OF THE SPIRIT into an ITV mini-series, and wrote THE CHAPEL OF UNREST.
