Amsterdam’s Museumplein is awash with colour as 200,000 tulips are being handed out for free to mark Dutch National Tulip Day. 🌷
The event, themed “United in Bloom,” officially kicks off the Netherlands’ international cut tulip season, running until the end of April.
Last year, Dutch growers produced 2 billion cut tulips, making the flower a symbol of national pride and springtime celebration. 🌷 ✨
Both locals and tourists gathered to enjoy the blooms, take photos, and celebrate one of the country’s most iconic floral traditions.
