Through the built-in difficulty spikes like the Margit the Fell Omen boss fight, players are encouraged to take a break and mindfully explore the open world of Limgrave. Instead of grinding and grinding your way to frustration, Elden Ring wants you to take breaks. In this video essay, things get personal.
