カミーノ巡礼 5日目：パンプローナ 〜 プエンテ・ラ・レイナ

サンティアゴ巡礼5日目。パンプローナを出発し、どこまでも続く黄金色の穀物畑と緑の丘を歩きました。

今回のハイライトは、風の丘に佇む「ペルドン峠」の鉄の巡礼者オブジェ。立ち並ぶ風力発電の風車を背景に、とてもフォトジェニックな景色が広がります。村の教会で祈りを捧げ、目的地プエンテ・ラ・レイナでは夕食後の夕立のあとに見事な虹が。まさに「Rainbow Seeker（虹を追う者）」となった忘れられない一日でした。

道中では、以前の宿で知り合ったドイツの「盆栽先生」や、ナポリから来た女性グループ、バルセロナの素敵なご夫婦など、多くの出会いがありました。偶然再会したフランスの友人と屋上でピザとビールを楽しんだ時間は、まさに「感謝の循環」を感じるひとときでした。

映画『星の旅人たち（The Way）』と同じ出発点、サン・ジャン・ピエ・ド・ポーからピレネーを越え、ログローニョへ向かう「フランス人の道」175km地点の記録です。

Camino de Santiago Day 5: Pamplona to Puente La Reina

Day 5 of my pilgrimage. Leaving Pamplona, I walked through endless rolling hills of golden grain fields and lush greenery.

The highlight was the "Alto del Perdón" (Mount of Forgiveness) with its iconic iron pilgrim sculptures. The sight of the sculptures against the backdrop of massive wind turbines is truly photogenic. After reaching Puente La Reina, a sudden rain shower after dinner gave way to a stunning rainbow—I truly became a "Rainbow Seeker" that evening.

The journey was filled with wonderful encounters: a "Bonsai Master" from Germany, a group of ladies from Naples, and a lovely couple from Barcelona. Sharing pizza and beer on the rooftop with a French friend I happened to meet again was a perfect example of the "Cycle of Gratitude" that exists on the Camino.

This video captures the 175km mark of the "French Way," following the same route as the movie The Way, starting from Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, crossing the Pyrenees toward Logroño.
