Requirements: Coconut mat, 30 Wooden planks, Nails and washers(more than 25 or buy accordingly)
Step's
Grass Cutting: Mark your pitch area where you wants to create in your ground and reduce the grass completely there and then measure 22.60 long * 3.66 wide (in metres). Mark those measurments and make a stright line with a Tape or some stick, where you have to follow that line while keeping planks and mat.
Wooden Planks(22m thick): Buy 30 wooden planks from local shops (eg:Baumarkt in Germany). Place those planks (2050mm length* 625mm width * 22mm thickness). These planks have grooves (male and female) on their sides and the adjoining plank fits in it. Each plank costs around 8 to 9 € depending on the store. After placing 30 planks we drilled holes on planks(in every third mat on both sides) as well to restrict movements while running and playing. The nails costed us 5 or 6 € for 5kgs and washers also around 5 €. Place or remove planks in bowler end according to your ground evenness. The bowler end should be even while running and bowling along with the play ground. Our ground was even for bowlers after placing planks so we did not remove planks near bowler end.
Matting: We bought a Coconut brown mat from DCB(Deutsche Cricket Bund) which costs around 950 Euro. We rolled out the Mat on the planks from one end to other. Then, on Mat there are 16 holes(5 on each end and 3 on each side) we again drilled in with Nails and washers. Use hammer to drill in the nails on planks as well as mat.
Crease : Use Chalks to mark the crease accordingly.
