These mods will not stray away from the intended game design unlike some overhaul mods, but they will surely spice it up and even enhance the intended design for these mechanics by making them more meaningful and significant.

All of these mod I personally use, and I recommend them all as a MUST have. The Politics mod is my personal favorite as it makes me engage with the court and politics of my empire in the late game stages of the campaign.
