Описание: 1981 World Rally Champion Ari Vatanen says Malcolm Wilson had better hire him for 2012. He's joking - we think - but after Mikko Hirvonen's late bid to win the title failed in Wales, Vatanen remains the only Ford driver to have ever won the World Rally Championship. That was 30 years ago. The title win came on the 25th of November, 1981, when Vatanen and David Richards (yes, the same) finished second behind Hannu Mikko's Audi Quattro in the 30th Lombard RAC Rally. It was all they needed to overhaul Sunbeam-Talbot's Guy Fréquelin and Jean Todt (yes, also the same) and take top spot. Ari Vatanen was at Rally GB last weekend - and iRally spoke to the great man.
