"Delaware and the Press in the 20th Century" was the topic of the fifth annual Delaware Day Symposium held on December 7, 1999.
The topic for the afternoon session was "The Media in Delaware- Today and Tomorrow." Sam Waltz moderated the panel that included Tammy Brittingham, president of Independent Newspapers Inc, John Taylor, editorial page editor of the News Journal; and Alan Loudell of WILM.
The event was cosponsored by the state of Delaware/Delaware Public Archives, Wesley College and Independent Newspapers Inc.
