Описание: After their victory in Samsooth, the Altean army has officially arrived in Aurelis. There, they engage in battle against a Macedonian cavalry regiment led by General Bentheon. Defeating the regiment, Marth pushes onwards to Aurelis Palace.

Matthis is a very lackluster unit. He boasts very low base stats and has below average stat growths. He only has two things going for him. The first being that cavalry is the best class in the game and second being his high weapon level. At level 8, he can wield the Silver Lance and he has a 70% growth rate in weapon levels meaning he'll most likely be able to wield the Silver Sword after leveling up. I won't ever use him after this one, but if you want to train him, be my guest.

Merric, on the other hand, is a great unit. In this game, most units have 0 resistance with the highest resistance being only 7. Magic has a set hit rate and damage meaning that Merric can always be viable. His growths are very balanced and he has high HP and weapon level growths being at 80%. By his higher levels, he should be able to use every tome in the game. Even though he has low defense, his high HP should keep him alive. Problem is that you won't be able to promote him until chapter 19 so that will stump some of his progress.

Arenas can be pretty good in this game if you learn the patterns. The arena guy will give you a number amount. Any number between 00-40 will be a certain unit and 50-90 will be another. The lowest will be a pirate or a fighter while the highest are thieves and mages. At chapter 4, you probably won't get anyone higher than level 5 as they scale with you. I wouldn't recommend using Merric quite yet as you can't buy magic for a bit, but if Merric faces an archer, it will treat it as close range and they won't attack you.
