Broken Physics | Bullet Penetration in Movies

Описание: We investigate the physics of bullet penetration in movies and how inaccurate it is. The bullet penetration distance in a target is calculated from Second Netwon's Law assuming that the bullet is slowed down by the material cavity strength and aerodynamic forces. We provide several examples and discuss the concepts further.
