In a country that hosted the very first Eurovision Song Contest in Lugano in 1956 and now celebrates a new chapter with Nemo’s 2024 win, Switzerland offers a symbolic and timely stage to explore how fairness is experienced—and contested—in Eurovision and beyond.

Day 2 features roundtable discussions with Eurovision practitioners, a dedicated scholarly roundtable on fairness, politics, and access in the contest, and a deep dive into the FairMusE research project, which examines how streaming platforms and digital ecosystems shape fairness for artists and audiences alike.
