Описание: Before visiting Uzbekistan, I was warned about the ‘dangers’ and told it wasn’t safe. But my experience was completely different:

1. Strangers came up to me, asking for photos and if I’m from Hindustan.

2. Locals started singing Hindi songs, expressing their love for India and Bollywood music.

3. Even when my drone was confiscated at the border, the officials were kind and explained the situation calmly, and returned it to me at the airport after 8 days.
Not knowing the language and having my drone confiscated was daunting, but instead of intimidating me, the officials were incredibly kind and understanding.

Uzbekistan welcomed me with open arms, showing that sometimes the reality on the ground is far kinder than the perceptions we hear. Grateful for the genuine connections I made in this incredible country❤️🇺🇿
