Steps To Solve

Some familiarity with block-building is helpful, I recommend trying the AI Cube first before attempting this, see    • AI Cube Tutorial  

The idea is to reduce the puzzle to a 2x2, by solving each bandaged 3x3 corner blocks. This is done mostly intuitively, using relatively simple algs like    • Meson Cube 6x6: Swap 2x2 Top Layers   and    • Meson Cube 6x6: Swap 2x2 2nd Layers   to swap pieces around, together with 2x2 moves like    • Meson Cube 6x6: Rotate Corner Block   to rotate corner blocks to set up the swaps.

1) Reduce the corner blocks for the 2 corners for which the corner pieces are perfect cubes.

2) Reduce each remaining corner block such that all bandaging is removed. This means that all 3 edges and around each corner align with the corner, though they may be incorrect colours for now.

3) Use    • Meson Cube 6x6: Swap 2x2 2nd Layers   to reduce all edges, so that they match up with the adjacent corners.

4) Reduce all of the middle pieces using    • Meson Cube 6x6: 3-Cycle Centers  . This is just using    • Meson Cube 6x6: Swap 2x2 2nd Layers   to create a commutator. Some additional setup moves may be required.

5) The puzzle should now be reduced to a 2x2. Solve using any 2x2 method.
