Turn any TV into a FRAME TV for Artworks DIY

Описание: I was never happy with the interface and quality of the Samsung FRAME TV, so I searched for an alternative. (check out my various FRAME TV / ARTWORK TV Brands review links below also.

I built a custom controller to Automatically turn our TCL NXTFRAME tv on and off (when people enter / exit the room).. it works fantastically.

This is how I built it, using a programmable ARDUINO.

Use this info to build your own similar project. The Arduino stores and sends Remote control TV codes to turn the TV on and off, triggered by an infra red motion sensor.

This setup outperforms the Samsung Frame TV and the Hisense TV and even the TCL built in photo / gallery functionality.

Images / Art & photos are managed easily on a USB stick, easily updated on your PC or laptop. I HAVE UNLIMITED IMAGE STORAGE, using this external media player.

The Arduino Compiler will need to have the include files loaded called

IRremote.h
and
IrSender.sendPulseDistanceWidth (for a complex TCL tv IRcode)

Some Other TV's can use more simple IR code libraries found online..

LED IR emitter needs a 220 Ohm resistor in series, when connected to Arduino.
