STORYLINE:

Nearly a hundred armed masked PFLP activists walked through the streets of Nablus Saturday, in memory of their former leader Abu Ali Mustafa.

Mustafa was killed when an Israeli helicopter missile struck his office in Ramallah on August 27th.

The march made its way through the West Bank town, with supporters waving Popular Front flags.

In another incident near Nablus, in the village of Ijnsnia light
clashes broke out as the Israeli army prevented Palestinians from passing a road.

Civilians who had gathered to try to pass along the main road to Nablus scattered as the army opened fire.

In Bethlehem another demonstration marking the anniversary of Ali Abu Mustafa was held.

During the demonstration the model of a settlement was set on fire, as masked demonstrators shot bullets in the air.
