Let’s pick up our hooks again for week two of the Day Tripper Picnic Blanket CAL with Katie Jones! We’re taking what we learnt last week, and putting a new spin on it. The Half N Half square mixes the traditional Granny look with bold block treble colour stripes.
This square is made in 2 halves, starting with the solid colour granny side and then attaching the second side as you go. In the first side Granny Treble clusters are worked into the gap with stitches on the second side being worked between each other.
You will want to make 4 Motifs in each colourway, 8 squares in total
Your finished blanket will be perfect for those sunny picnics ahead, capturing the joy of summer in its sunny shades of Hayfield Bonus DK. Happy Hooking!
