Thoothukudi Custodial Deaths Case: Five new policemen detained for interrogation

Описание: Thoothukudi Custodial Deaths Case has brought in another lead. Five policemen have been detained for questioning for the alleged custodial deaths of a father-son duo. The CB-CID has previously booked a sub-inspector and other officers involved in police brutality. Reports say that there were over 20 policemen present at the time of brutality.

The father-son duo was picked up for questioning by the Sathankulam Police over alleged lockdown violation on June 19. Twelve special police teams have been commissioned to probe the case from all possible angles. Four policemen have been named in the FIR for their alleged involvement in the death of P Jeyaraj and his son Benicks and now another five have been detained for interrogation.
