In this lesson, you can learn the differences among Japanese three main first person singular pronouns わたし/私(watashi), ぼく/僕(boku), おれ/俺(ore).
These are often used as a subject in a sentence like "わたしは大学生です", which means "I'm a university student." As you already know, these mean "I" in Japanese.
Different from English, Japanese has various pronouns besides the three. For example, uchi, atai, washi, shosei, sessha, etc... I know Japanese pronouns are complex compared to English but the main three pronouns are popular to use, so if you are a beginner, you should start by learning them!
