Hello friends today Recipe is ragi koozh!!
It's so good for summer! As well as so healthy breakfast!
If you want to make it for tomorrow's breakfast you should start making it from today's morning!
ingredients:
**Ragi flour-1 cup
Water-1 & 1/4 cup to mix the batter for fermentation!**
Prepare it early morning &
Leave it to ferment it whole day!
It requires minimum 8 hours.
The same day evening
Other ingredients:
** Water-6 cups
Broken rice-1 tbsp ( rinse it well)**
Take the fermented batter, and keep it aside.
1 cup of ragi flour-6 cups of water.
Use the same cup.
Take the six cups of water in a clay pot.
Bring it to a boil
Once it starts boiling add the Broken rice ( before adding clean it well)
Mix it well after adding.
Cook it for about 20 minutes on medium flame.
Once it's cooked well, mix the fermented batter, add it to the cooked Broken rice while stirring continuously.
Keep the flame on low. While adding.
Stir it at intervals cook it for about 10 to 15 minutes On low to medium flame.
To check whether it's cooked
Dip your hands in water &
Touch the colour flour with your finger.
If it doesn't stick to your fingers then it's cooked well.
It would take around 15 minutes.
After it's cooked well, again leave it whole night.
The next day morning it will be ready to drink.
But before that we need to add something.
Ingredients:
***Buttermilk as needed ( while making buttermilk add 1 cup of water to get all the butter from the buttermilk)
Crushed green chillies -1
Chopped shallots-10
Cold water-1 cup
salt as required***
Add evening and mix it well.
Serve with raw Mango, mor milakai, shallots and 1 green chillies which is optional.
Breakfast is ready!
