This easy recipe uses simple ingredients and step-by-step cooking to give you authentic homemade taste with perfect softness and balanced flavors.
👉 Ingredients:
Mash ki daal (urad dal) – 2 cups
Salt – to taste
Kuti mirchain – 1 tsp
Adrak – 1 small piece
Ajwain – 1 tsp
Green chilies – 2–3
Water – as required (for soaking & grinding)
Oil – for frying
For Dahi Mixture:
Milk – ¼ litre
Yogurt – 3 cups
Salt – to taste
Sugar – 1–2 tbsp (optional)
Roasted cumin powder – 1 tsp
Red chili powder – ½ tsp
For Garnish:
Tamarind chutney – as required
Chaat masala – 1 tsp
Green chutney – optional
Fresh coriander – for garnish
