🚨 STAGGERING: 18% of all U.S. home healthcare billing comes from Los Angeles County alone, according to Dr. Oz.
Oz says LA has a massive hospice fraud problem — with hospice enrollment growing 7X in just 5 years, representing an estimated $3.5 BILLION in fraud in the county.
One shocking example: investigators found 112 hospice agencies registered to a single commercial building in the San Fernando Valley.
The scale is hard to believe:
➡️ 1,923 hospice providers in LA County
➡️ More than 36 states combined
Even worse, many “patients” don’t know they’re enrolled in hospice until they seek other medical care.
Oz claims organized crime is driving much of it, alleging Russian-Armenian mafia networks working with doctors willing to falsify records. A whistleblower says licensing is so lax that “it’s all just paperwork.”
If true, this is one of the largest healthcare fraud scandals in America.
