Hi Crochet Friends!

Happy June! We are looking into a new shawl shape this month as we explore another instalment in our Shawl We Crochet Series for 2022. It's the crescent shape this time and we are going all in with a very pronounced shaping to the crescent. Some crescent shawls can be a bit more subtle but I thought it would be very useful to practice the increase stitches of a deeper crescent.
I also specifically picked the blue and the yellow to be symbolic of my support for the people of Ukraine as they continue to fight for their freedom and peace. This shawl shows that they are continually in my heart.
Hope you enjoy working on this shawl using only the double crochet stitch. This will give you a chance to focus more on the shaping.

Note: For row 13 and every odd row to the end of the project, there will be no increases except for the first and last stitch.

TIME STAMPS
03:00 - Materials
07:30 - Row 1
09:18 - Row 2
12:01 - Row 3
13:52 - Row 4
16:46 - Row 5
18:36 - Row 6
20:20 - Row 7 (using blue colour)

Continue using blue for 6 rows
Then change back to yellow for 6 rows
Change to blue for 22 rows
Change back to yellow at the end for another 22 rows
