Richard realizes what a creep Chip really is and he wanted more from Laura. Richard tells Laura that he never wanted her to humiliate herself at all which almost humiliates him. Valene gives J.R. change to call Lucy with to tell her that her parents are remarried, but Valene and Gary are not afraid of J.R. anymore. Gary tells J.R. that he has the envelope which contains J.R.’s survey and the discovery of an alternative drilling by site on shore, which means J.R. could make 15 million and not 20 million. J.R. warns Gary not to use the survey, but to no avail.
